Terms of Service

By accessing aboudiventures.com, requesting a quote, booking a shipment, or engaging Aboudi Ventures as a carrier, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any applicable rate confirmation, bill of lading, or carrier agreement issued for a specific shipment. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

Aboudi Ventures provides freight transportation services, including but not limited to:

• Full Truckload (FTL) and Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipping.
• Flatbed and heavy-haul transport for oversized or specialized freight.
• Refrigerated (reefer) transport for temperature-sensitive cargo.
• Expedited and intermodal freight solutions across the continental United States.

Specific service details, equipment, and delivery windows for a given shipment are confirmed via a rate confirmation or booking agreement, which forms part of these Terms for that shipment.

Quotes provided through our website, phone, or email are estimates based on the information you provide (origin, destination, freight type, weight, and dimensions). Final rates may be adjusted if the actual shipment details differ from what was submitted, including undisclosed hazmat, oversized dimensions, or inaccurate weight.

A booking is only confirmed once Aboudi Ventures issues a rate confirmation and a driver or trailer is assigned. Verbal quotes are not binding until confirmed in writing.

• Invoices are due according to the payment terms stated on the rate confirmation or carrier agreement for each shipment.
• Late payments may be subject to fees as outlined in the applicable agreement.
• Additional charges (detention, layover, accessorials, redelivery) may apply where delays or extra services occur outside the original scope of the booking.
• We reserve the right to place a lien on cargo in accordance with applicable law in the event of non-payment, to the extent permitted by federal and state regulations.

As a shipper or customer booking with us, you agree to:

• Provide accurate freight details, including weight, dimensions, and any hazardous, fragile, or special-handling characteristics.
• Properly package, label, and load freight in accordance with industry and regulatory standards.
• Ensure someone is available at pickup and delivery locations within the agreed windows.
• Disclose any permits, certifications, or special documentation required for the freight being shipped.

Unless specifically agreed to in writing in advance, we do not transport illegal goods, undeclared hazardous materials, or freight that violates federal, state, or local transportation regulations. Aboudi Ventures reserves the right to refuse or halt transport of any shipment that is misrepresented, improperly documented, or unsafe to carry.

Aboudi Ventures maintains cargo insurance as required for a licensed motor carrier. Claims for loss or damage must be:

• Reported in writing within the timeframe specified on your bill of lading or carrier agreement.
• Supported by documentation, including proof of delivery (POD) notations, photos, and a description of the damage or loss.

Our liability for cargo loss or damage is subject to the limits set out in the applicable bill of lading, carrier agreement, and federal motor carrier regulations (49 U.S.C. § 14706, the Carmack Amendment, where applicable), and excludes indirect, consequential, or delay-related damages except where required by law.

Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled subject to the terms of the applicable rate confirmation. Cancellations made after a driver has been dispatched may incur a cancellation or deadhead fee. Aboudi Ventures is not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or other events beyond our reasonable control, though we will make reasonable efforts to communicate updates through our dispatch team.

Individuals or entities applying for owner-operator lease-on or driving positions through our Careers page agree to provide accurate licensing, insurance, and equipment information. Engagement as an owner-operator or driver is governed by a separate lease or independent contractor agreement, which takes precedence over these Terms for matters specific to that relationship.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aboudi Ventures is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services, including lost profits or business interruption, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable federal motor carrier law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Aboudi Ventures harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, inaccurate shipment information, improperly packaged or mislabeled freight, or violation of applicable law.

Aboudi Ventures is not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, government action, labor disputes, or mechanical failure.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable U.S. federal motor carrier regulations, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the courts located in Texas, unless otherwise required by federal law.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operations, or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
